Plug and Play Owie V2 Installation Guide

This guide walks through the Plug and Play Owie V2 installation for Nexus Battery Solutions products. Follow each connection step carefully and confirm every connector is seated before reassembly.

Warning: You must use the wires included in the packaging to install the Plug and Play chip. Stock wires will not work.

Installation Diagram

Use this diagram to identify the main Owie V2 connection points: lighting power, board power, board data, and harness data.

6-Pin Communication Connection

  1. Connect the 6-pin connector from the wiring harness to the 6-pin port on the chip labeled IN.
  2. Connect the 6-pin wire from the kit into the PCB 6-pin port, then connect the other side to the 6-pin port on the stock OneWheel control board.

3-Pin Power Connection

  1. Connect the 3-pin connector from the chip side labeled IN to the stock control board's 3-pin connector.
  2. Connect the 3-pin connector from the chip side labeled OUT to the LED board in the front of the controller housing.

Mount the Chip

Peel the backing and stick the Owie V2 chip to the lid so it is secured before reassembly.
